First Responder Training

In Florida, IERF supports rural volunteer fire departments and rescue squads that often operate on extremely limited budgets. Many of these agencies struggle to access affordable continuing education or Medical First Responder courses, leaving their members without the training required to stay certified. We fill that gap by providing low-cost or free training options, flexible scheduling, and U.S.-standard instruction that helps departments maintain readiness without straining their budgets.

In Panama, we strengthen local response capabilities by delivering U.S.-aligned Medical First Responder training to community volunteers, residents, and local organizations. This training gives people the confidence and hands-on skills needed to manage trauma, medical emergencies, accidents, airway problems, and scene safety especially in areas with long EMS response times.

Across both countries, our mission is the same: build strong, capable responders who can stabilize patients and save lives when every second counts.
